What is group fitness?
 |
| AB - group fitness |
Group fitness is one of the most popular forms of exercise around
these days. While some people like to have the one on one attention
of a Personal Trainer, others prefer the vibe and camaraderie of
a group class. All commercial gyms these days offer a variety of
group classes from aerobics with music to weight training groups.
While some people may not want to go one on one with a trainer,
they may also be put off by the idea of training in a large anonymous
group in a sterile gym environment or forking out for expensive
gym membership fees. People may also want to train with a Personal
Trainer, but not have the finances to go one on one. There is a
happy medium.
Get together with some friends or colleagues and book Alan Baxter
to work with you as a small group. Alan can organise training for
groups of any number, although six to eight people often work best.
This way each person gets the benefit of Alan's attention while
still enjoying group exercise with the encouragement of their fellows.
Above all else, group fitness is fun.
Group fitness sessions emphasise an improvement in aerobic fitness
and muscular strength and endurance. Cardio, resistance work, boxing
and kickboxing make for fun and effective training and Alan's twenty
year plus experience in the martial arts will ensure that these
classes safe and enjoyable.
