What is workplace fitness training?
FACT: Fit, healthy people are happier and more productive
at work.
FACT: Fit, healthy people have greater concentration, focus
and alertness.
FACT: Finding time and motivation for fitness training can
be very difficult.
FACT: ABActive can solve the problem by coming to you at
your workplace with everything you need!
The single biggest complaint among people that would like to get
fit or lose weight is that they simply can't find the time to train.
The problem is that finding the time for anything these days is
difficult. Training is something for which people need to make time.
Personal Trainer Alan Baxter can help with this situation.
All that is required is some space in your office building, somewhere
on the grounds of your workplace or a nearby park plus the commitment
of some members of staff. Alan Baxter will supply the rest.
Think how much time and effort you could save by training at work,
before the workday begins or during your lunch break. A circuit
training class carefully designed to maximise strength and fitness
improvements and to burn fat can be extremely rewarding and lots
of fun. But Alan will supply more than just the class.

Alan's circuit training classes are structured into 8 week terms.
In week one each participant will take part in a fun, low impact
fitness assessment and introduction to circuit training. In weeks
2 through 7, each participant will enjoy a challenging and enjoyable
circuit training class. Then, in week 8, each participant will again
take a fitness assessment and will subsequently be presented with
a 'Certificate of Achievement' showing the gains they have made
during the eight weeks. Then the whole 8 week program will start
again. This is a form of exercising that can be repeated indefinitely
to reach a state of great health and fitness, an ideal weight and
body shape and maintain those gains.
Alan can also offer nutritional assessments and advice to ensure
that your eating habits become as healthy as your exercise habits.
Alan Baxter can come to your office several times a week if required,
training groups mornings, lunchtimes, afternoons - whenever suits
you and your colleagues. Training more than once a week can be highly
beneficial with improved results achieved in a shorter time. Group
sizes are limited so that each person gets personal attention. Alan
will happily run several classes back to back if you have more than
eight keen participants.
Companies these days recognise that fit and healthy staff are more
productive and happy at work. Based on this, a number of companies
are often prepared to subsidise a group class in the workplace,
by not only providing the space to train in, but sometimes offering
to pay a percentage of the training fee, or offer the course as
a salary sacrifice. And don't forget that a lot of health funds
will provide pay back for health and fitness classes. Check with
your employer or health fund to see if any of these options might
apply to you or talk to your HR Department today about arranging
group fitness classes in your workplace.
So what is there to lose? You might have complained before that
you don't have time to exercise. Now you only have to come to work
a bit early or give up a lunch hour and you'll be exercising, improving
health and fitness and having fun.
Alan Baxter is fully qualified and insured. Give him a call to
